SRAM LLC is a privately owned bicycle component manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, United States, founded in 1987. The company is known for producing cycling components, including some internally developed, such as Grip Shift, EAGLE (1x12), DoubleTap, dedicated 1x11 mountain and road drivetrains and SRAM Red eTap.

Born near the Strait of Messina, his nickname is the "Shark of the Strait", "the Shark of Messina" or simply "The Shark". He is considered one of the strongest stage race riders of his era.

The possible codes are from 0000 to 9999 inclusive. There are 10 possibilities for each ring, thus there are 10*10*10*10 possible codes.

BMX began in the early 1970s, when children began racing their bicycles on dirt tracks in southern California, inspired by the motocross stars of the time. Though originally denoting a bicycle intended for BMX Racing, the term "BMX bike" is now used to encompass race bikes, as well as those used for the dirt, vert, park, street, flatland and BMX freestyle disciplines of BMX.

For bicycle pedals, the screw on the right must be reverse-threaded, or the pedal will unscrew during use, being subject to counterclockwise torque (which would work to undo a right-hand thread).

There are 10 track cycling events at the Summer Olympic: Keirin, Omnium, Team Pursuit, Team Sprint and Individual Sprint; all both men and women. In contrast, there are only 4 events of road cycling, 2 of BMX and 2 of mountain bike.
