The flag of Gabon is a tricolour consisting of three horizontal green, yellow and blue bands. Adopted in 1960 to replace the previous colonial flag containing the French Tricolour at the canton, it has been the flag of the Gabonese Republic since the country gained independence that year. The design of the present flag entailed the removal the Tricolour and the widening of the yellow stripe at the centre.

Zheleznogorsk is a closed town in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.It was established in 1950 for the production of weapons-grade plutonium. It was a secret town in the Soviet Union until President Boris Yeltsin decreed in 1992 that such places could use their historical names. Before then, the town had not appeared on any official maps. The town was also known as Soctown, Iron City, the Nine and Atom Town.

The Romani flag is the international flag of the Romani people. It was approved at the first World Romani Congress (WRC), held in Orpington in 1971. The flag consists of a background of blue and green, representing the heavens and earth, respectively; it also contains a 16-spoke red chakra, or spoked wheel, in the centre, representing the itinerant tradition of the Romani people.

The flag refers to french revolution, but commonly it's said that green means hope, white means catholicism and red means bravery. All these terms refers to people who fought to unification of Italy

The national flag of Bahrain consists of a white band on the left, separated from a red area on the right by five triangles that serve as a serrated line. The five white triangles symbolize the five pillars of Islam. It is sometimes mistaken for the flag of Qatar, but that flag is maroon, not red, has more points and normally has a much greater length-to-width ratio.

The Armenian flag consist of 3 horizontal stripes - red, blue and orange. Red symbolizes spilled blood of the Armenian heroes which fought for freedom. Blue means hope. Orange stands for wealth gained from hard work.

The flag of Ireland is composed of orange, white and green color.

The flag of Mexico has three vertical stripes in green, white, and red. In the middle is the image of an eagle sitting on a cactus and devouring snake, which symbolizes Tenochtitlán - the former capital of the Aztecs

The flag of Papua New Guinea was adopted on 1 July 1971. In the hoist, it depicts the Southern Cross; in the fly, a raggiana bird-of-paradise is silhouetted. The design was chosen through a nationwide design competition in early 1971. The winning designer was Susan Karike Huhume, who was 15 years old at the time.
