The Singapore chewing gum ban has been in place since 1992. Since 2004, an exception has existed for therapeutic, dental, or nicotine chewing gum, which can be bought from a doctor or registered pharmacist. It is currently not illegal to chew gum in Singapore, merely to import it and sell it, apart from the aforementioned exceptions. Tourists visiting Singapore are allowed to bring in up to two packs of chewing gum per person.

Churchkhela is a traditional Georgian candle-shaped candy. The main ingredients are grape must, nuts and flour. Almonds, walnuts, hazelnut and chocolate and sometimes raisins are threaded onto a string, dipped in thickened grape juice or fruit juices and dried in the shape of a sausage. The traditional technology of churchkhela in the Kakheti region was inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Georgia list in 2015.

Chupa Chups is a popular Spanish brand of lollipop and other confectionery sold in over 150 countries around the world. The brand was founded in 1958 by Enric Bernat, and is currently owned by the Italian-Dutch multinational corporation Perfetti Van Melle. The name of the brand comes from the Spanish verb chupar, meaning "to suck".

Watermelons are only 92 percent water.The title of most water-filled fruit or vegetable, by contrast, is a tie between the cucumber and iceberg lettuce, both with 96 percent water content. In fact vegetables win, hands down, in this contest as among commonly consumed fruits and vegetables the top eight are vegetables: cucumber (96 percent), slightly less; iceberg lettuce, celery, radish, zucchini, red tomatoes, and green cabbage.

The pizza we're all familiar with — the kind with tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings — did originate in Italy. Specifically, baker Raffaele Esposito from Naples is often given credit for creating the first such pizza pie. Historians note, however, that flat breads with a variety of toppings had been sold by street vendors and eaten by the poor workers of Naples for many years.

Margarine was invented in France by Hippolyte Mège-Mouriès in 1869, during the Franco-Prussian wars. He invented it in response to a competitive challenge from the French government under Napoleon III, who was looking for a cheap and stable substitute for butter, and offered a big prize to anyone who could pull it off.

The potato chip was invented in 1853 by George Crum. Crum was a Native American/African American chef at the Moon Lake Lodge resort in Saratoga Springs, New York, USA.

Lonicera caerulea, also called honeyberry, is a fruit that is edible.It is a member of the honeysuckle family. It is easy to grow and has few pests. They are native to Russia and can tolerate very cold weather. They can survive down to −55 °F (−48 °C). They have been raised for centuries in Asia and Eastern Europe. Honeyberry is a well-behaved plant that is not seen as being an Invasive species.

Nachos is a dish from northern Mexico that consists of tortilla chips covered with mince and cheese or a cheese-based sauce often served as a snack. The original nachos consisted of fried corn tortillas covered with melted cheese and sliced jalapeño peppers.

Gluten is the name given to the protein found in some, but not all, grains: Grains containing gluten – wheat (including wheat varieties like spelt, kamut, farro and durum, plus products like bulgar and semolina), barley, rye, triticale and oats. Gluten free grains – corn, millet, rice, sorghum.
