How many different drugs and medicines was Adolf Hitler taking during the Second World War?
none, as he was afraid of being poisoned
Hitler in the last years of his life was taking a lot of different medicines which were prescribed by his personal doctor Theodor Morell. He regularly took methamphetamine (since 1942 he was addicted to it), and also substances containing barbiturates, opiates and cocaine. Albert Speer claimed that Hitler's obstinate resistance to retreat from the front was caused by drugs influence.
