Lina Medina, a Peruvian girl born in 1933, began menstruating at the age of eight months, was raped and gave birth at the age of five years, seven months, and 21 days. She is the youngest confirmed mother in medical history. Medina is still alive today. Medina has never revealed the father of the child nor the circumstances of her impregnation.
