The Druze are an Arabic-speaking esoteric ethnoreligious group originating in Western Asia who self-identify as Al-Muwaḥḥidūn (lit. "The People of Monotheism").Druze people reside primarily in Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan. The number of Druze people worldwide is between 800,000 and one million, with the vast majority residing in the Levant.
