Nukuʻalofa is the capital of the Kingdom of Tonga. It is located on the north coast of the island of Tongatapu, in the southernmost island group of Tonga.

Nuku'alofa jest stolicą Królewstwa Tonga. Jest położone na północnym wybrzeżu Wyspy Tongatapu, na południu wysp Tonga.

Das eigentliche historische Zentrum von Nukuʻalofa ist Kolomotuʻa „altes Dorf“. . Kolofoʻou „Neues Dorf“ ist das zweite der drei villages, aus denen sich die heutige Hauptstadt zusammensetzt. Das dritte Dorf ist Maʻufanga, noch weiter östlich gelegen.Die Stadt liegt an der Nordküste der Insel Tongatapu, nur wenige Zentimeter über dem Meeresspiegel.
