What coleopterology is

Coleopterology is a branch of entomology, the scientific study of beetles. Practitioners are termed coleopterists and they often form organizations to facilitate the study of beetles such as Coleopterists Society, an international organization based in the United States. When speaking informally, coleopterists sometimes refer to their study as "beetling".
