Andorra la Vella is the capital of Andorra, a sovereign landlocked Southwest European microstate. The city has a population of only 22,886 (as of 2015). It is Europe’s highest capital city in terms of elevation. The city is located at the confluence of two mountain streams in the Pyrenees at an elevation of 1,023 meters in Andorra’s south western region.
