Mount Catherine locally known as Gabal Katrîne, is the highest mountain in Egypt. It is located near the city of Saint Catherine in the South Sinai Governorate. The name is derived from the Christian tradition that angels transported to this mountain the body of the martyred Saint Catherine of Alexandria.

Góra Świętej Katarzyny to szczyt górski położony w południowej części półwyspu Synaj w muhafazie Synaj Południowy. Wznosi się na wysokość 2629 m n.p.m. i jest najwyższym szczytem Egiptu oraz Synaju. U podnóża góry znajduje się klasztor Świętej Katarzyny, wpisany w 2002 na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO. Położona niedaleko Góra Synaj (Góra Mojżesza) ma wysokość 2285 m n.p.m. i jest drugim szczytem Egiptu.
