Allasch is a type of caraway liqueur of around 40% ABV, usually flavoured with bitter almonds, anise, angelica root and orange peel. Invented in 1823 in Allasch in Latvia, a von Blanckenhagen family property, it was widely popular and produced there until 1944 when the Soviet Union re-occupied Latvia and expelled ethnic Germans from the region. In Latvia it's still produced under the name "Allažu ķimelis".

Nazwa pochodzi od nazwy majątku ziemskiego Allasch na Łotwie (wówczas Imperium Rosyjskie), niedaleko Rygi (łot. Allažmuiža), gdzie pierwotnie (od 1823 r.) produkowano ten napój. W 1830 r. alasz trafił na Targi Lipskie i stał się popularny w tym regionie Niemiec.
