What type of sweets dogs should avoid the most?
chocolate
lollipops
cotton candy
chewing gum
Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs. Small gods can succumb to theobromine poisoning from as little as 50 grams (1.8 Oz) of milk chocolate and 400 grams (14 Oz) for an average-sized dog. The dark chocolate is far more toxic to dogs, as the concentration of theobromine in dark chocolates is up to 10 times that of milk chocolate.
