The Korean fir, is a species of fir native to the higher mountains of South Korea, including Jeju Island. Firs have some of the most decorative cones of all conifers, and the Korean fir has some of the best - violet-purple in colour, and standing upright on the branches. They develop over the summer and last until late winter, when they break up.
