Miłorząb dwuklapowy (Ginkgo biloba) jest gatunkiem endemicznym i reliktowym drzewa występującym na stanowiskach naturalnych wyłącznie w południowo-wschodniej części Chin. Stanowisko naturalne zajmuje obszar 1018 ha, są tu dwudziestometrowe drzewa o wieku powyżej 1000 lat, kilka drzew w wieku do 3400 lat i wysokości 40 m. Miłorząb jest rośliną leczniczą i ozdobną. Białe jądro zawarte w nasieniu jest w Chinach przysmakiem.
