Which Norse god has lost his right hand?
Thor
Freyr
Týr
Odin
Once the Fenris wolf (Fenrir) grew up he has reached an enormous size and power, so the gods decided to shackle him up. In order to do that Tyr has sacrificed his right hand. Fenrir would remain bound until the day of Ragnarök. As a result of this deed, Týr is called the "Leavings of the Wolf"; which is to be understood as a poetic kenning for glory.
