Sir Roderick David Stewart, is a British rock singer and songwriter is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. On 31 December 1994, Stewart played in front of 3.5 million people on Copacabana beach in Rio, and made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for staging the largest free rock concert attendance in history.

"Take On Me" is a song by Norwegian synthpop band A-ha, first released in 1984. The self-composed original version was produced by Tony Mansfield, and remixed by John Ratcliff. The video won six awards and was nominated for two others at the 1986 MTV Video Music Awards.

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born with poor eyesight and became completely blind at age 12, following a football accident. Bocelli has recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas, selling over 80 million records worldwide.

Elvis Presley began working for the Crown Electric company as a truck driver in 1954. His friend Ronnie Smith suggested he contact Eddie Bond, leader of Smith's professional band, which had an opening for a vocalist. Bond rejected him after a tryout, advising Presley to stick to truck driving "because you're never going to make it as a singer".

Will Smith is an American actor, producer, rapper, comedian, and songwriter. He has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, but never won one. In 1989 Smith, as a part of the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, received the first Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.

Mercury was born of Parsi descent in the Sultanate of Zanzibar. He spent most of his childhood in India. At the age of 18, he moved with his family to Middlesex, England.

Bruce Springsteen and Tom hanks have been friends from childhood. They won two Oscars for 'Philadelphia' - Bruce for music, Tom for the role.

Bob Dylan was born as Robert Allen Zimmerman in 1941 in a Jewish family in Duluth, Minnesota. He adopted the stage name "Bob Dylan" influenced by poems by Dylan Thomas. In August 1962 he legally changed his name to Robert Dylan.

Freddie Mercury was born in 1946 in Stone Town, Zanzibar - an island off the eastern coast of Africa, belonging to the British Empire at the time. At the age of 18, he moved to London because of the civil war.
