In Anaheim, California. Opened July 17, 1955, the Sleeping Beauty Castle is the oldest of all Disney castles. Though it reaches a height of only 77 feet (23 m), it was designed to appear taller through a process known as forced perspective; design elements are larger at the foundation and smaller at the turrets

Chicago school. The distinguishing features of the Chicago School are the use of steel-frame buildings with masonry cladding, large plate-glass window areas and limiting the amount of exterior ornamentation. Many Chicago School skyscrapers contain the three parts of a classical column.

New York. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the cylindrical building of the Guggenheim Museum is one of the 20th century's most important architectural landmarks. Its unique ramp gallery extends from just under the skylight in the ceiling in a long, continuous spiral until it reaches the ground level.
