How did the tradition of Oktoberfest start?
With the royal wedding. Crown Prince Ludwig, later to become King of Bavaria, Ludwig I, was married to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen on October 12, 1810. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields in front of the city gates to celebrate the happy royal event. Since then, Otoberfest is held at the same place every year (except for epidemics and wars).
Where is this famous castle?
In Germany. Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the most important tourist attractions of Bavaria, with over 1.3 million visitors annually. The castle name was given by mistake: two newly built castles - Hohenschwangau and Schwanstein effectively swapped names. Hohenschwangau Castle replaced the ruins of Schwanstein Castle, and Neuschwanstein Castle replaced the ruins of the two Hohenschwangau Castles.

In Munich. The Oktoberfest is not only the largest beer festival, but also the world's largest fair in general, with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year. It is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810.
