Tunnel da basa dal Son Gottard) is a railway tunnel through the Alps in Switzerland. With a route length of 57.09 km (35.5 mi),it is the world's longest and deepest traffic tunnel and the first flat, low-level route through the Alps.

Tunel bazowy Świętego Gotarda na dzień 1 czerwca 2016 jest najdłuższym i najgłębiej położonym tunelem świata. Trasa licząca 57 km łączy miasto Zurych z Mediolanem. Pociągi mogą osiągać szybkość do 250 km/h, przez co podróż została skrócona prawie o połowę. Budowa tego tunelu trwała 17 lat.

Er durchquert die zentralen Schweizer Alpen in Nord-Süd-Richtung und unterquert damit unter anderem das Gotthardmassiv. Der Gotthardbasistunnel ist ein Teilstück des die gesamte Schweiz umfassenden Verkehrskonzeptes Neue Eisenbahn-Alpentransversale – NEAT.
