Greenland is an autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark since the early 18th century. The economy of Greenland strongly depends on Denmark's annual subsidy to the island. The subsidy is slated to diminish gradually over time as Greenland's economy is strengthened by increased income from the extraction of natural resources.

Grenlandia od XVIII wieku jest autonomią w obrębie Królestwa Danii. Od wielu lat ekonomia wyspy mocno zależna jest od corocznej dotacji przekazywanej przez Danię. Planowane jest stopniowe zmniejszanie wsparcia finansowego w miarę pojawiania się spodziewanych zysków z eksploatacji surowców naturalnych Grenlandii.

Grönland, ist die größte Insel der Erde und wird geologisch zum arktischen Nordamerika gezählt. Aus politischer Sicht ist es ein autonomer Bestandteil des Königreichs Dänemark. Das Land hat, abgesehen von Antarktika, die geringste Bevölkerungsdichte der Welt.
