Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judah which was the place of David and his family. Joseph and Mary came from Nazareth to be registered when Jesus was born. Later, He followed his parents to Nazareth in Galilee where he grew up. Jesus' childhood home is identified in the gospels of Luke and Matthew as the town of Nazareth in Galilee, where he lived with his family.

To the surprise of some, “Christ” is not Jesus’ last name. “Christ” comes from the Greek word Christos, meaning “anointed one” or “chosen one.” This is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word Mashiach, or “Messiah.” “Christ” is His title, signifying Jesus was sent from God to be a King and Deliverer. “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus the Messiah” or “Jesus the Anointed One.”

As far as we can determine, He was born in 4 BC, based on the death of Herod the Great, the Jewish king who chased the Holy Family into Egypt and slaughtered the children in Bethlehem. He died, and rose, in 33 AD, which we can pinpoint pretty accurately from the dates of Passover, which depends on the new Moon.

The Quran recounts stories of many of the people and events recounted in Jewish and Christian sacred books. Jesus is mentioned more often in the Quran than Muhammad, while Mary is mentioned in the Quran more often than in the New Testament.

The Scriptures tell us that Jesus didn’t look different from an ordinary Jewish man of His time. (No, they do not. Jesus was descended from the Galilean Mary.) Any other color of eyes than brown would have been surely noted down. In the 2004 movie, The Passion of the Christ, Jesus was portrayed by Jim Caviezel who had his blue eyes digitally changed to brown.
