Picasso demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent in his early years, painting in a realistic manner through his childhood and adolescence. During the first decade of the 20th century, his style changed as he experimented with different theories, techniques, and ideas.

Duce (meaning leader) is an Italian title, derived from the Latin word dux, and cognate with duke. Because of modern anti-fascist sentiment, Italian speakers in general now use other words for leader, mainly including the English loanword. The same happened in Germany with "fuhrer".

Mount Etna is a stratovolcano currently standing 3,329 m (10,922 ft) high. The ash plume rises another few kilometers high, so the photo couldn't have been taken from a plane at such steep angle. It was taken from the ISS, orbiting over 330 km above Earth's surface.
