Where Dante's remains lie?

in Florence
in Milan
in Rome
in Ravenna
Dante was exiled from Florence due to his political views and activities. After years of wandering through Italy, he died in Ravenna in 1321. Florence made repeated requests for the return of his remains, but Ravenna refused. The tomb built for him in 1829 in the Basilica of Santa Croce has been empty ever since.
