Northeast Greenland National Park is the largest protected land area in the world. Established in 1974 and expanded to its present size in 1988, it protects 972,001 km2 and is bigger than all but twenty-nine countries in the world.

Park Narodowy Grenlandii to największy na świecie park narodowy. Znajduje się na terenie północno-wschodniej Grenlandii. Park narodowy został założony 22 maja 1974, zaś w 1988 został powiększony do obecnych rozmiarów. Park rozciąga się na powierzchni 972 000 km² (ponad trzykrotnie większej niż Polska) i od 1977 stanowi jeden z rezerwatów biosfery UNESCO.

Der Nordost-Grönland-Nationalpark ist der größte Nationalpark der Welt. Er ist der einzige Nationalpark Grönlands und belegt mit seinen 972.000 km² annähernd 45 % der Fläche der Insel. Der Nationalpark wurde am 22. Mai 1974 eingerichtet und 1988 auf seine jetzige Größe erweitert. Im Januar 1977 wurde er zum internationalen Biosphärenreservat erklärt.
