What is the name of the capital of Cameroon?
Jaunde is capital and the second largest city of Cameroon (2,8 million people). It was created in 1888 by German traders of ivory. It was occupied by Belgium through first world war. In 1922 Jaunde became the capital of the territory of the mandate League of Nations under French administration. After achieving independent in 1960 Jaunde became capital of Cameroon.
