The most difficult beetles riddles

Almost 25% of all known types of animal life-forms are beetles. About 40% of all described insect species are beetles (about 400,000 species), and new species are discovered frequently. It is widely accepted that the total number of all beetles species (including the undescribed ones) is higher than one million.

The title of heaviest insect in the world has many rivals, the most frequently crowned of which is the larval stage of the Goliath beetle, Goliathus goliatus, the top size of which is at least 115 g and 11.5 cm. Goliath beetles can be found in many of Africa's tropical forests, where they feed primarily on tree sap and fruit.
